pretty and fun photos to share with thier family.

I actually took Nikitas Senior portraits in 2008.

Sorry no examples…it was before I was blogging.

Well not so new anymore…these were taken earlier in the year.

I just haven’t gotten to blogging everything but am now

trying to catch up. I love my photography studio for little babies and kids.

Being in Longview is wonderful and I am blessed to have such amazing clients.

Aren’t they just stinkin’ adorable!!??

Kids are just the cutest things.

They make me smile.

When I get to photograph such fun kids

it reminds me why I love being a photographer!

Both of these cuties have Cystic Fibrosis.

Katie who is the kids’ mom asked if I would photograph them

for a photo to put on the front of t-shirts for the team

to walk for a cure in. I was glad to help and got my logo

on the shirts as well. I saw photos from the walk and

turns out is was a great success. Yay.

Zoey is gonna be Big sister yet again. She was excited

and a very sweet girl also. She sure loved jumping on

the bed in the studio. Who doesn’t though right?

He was fun as always a little ham. The sun was setting so the lighting was great!

He is 4 years old now…can’t believe how time flies.

So I always put previews up on facebook first…my blog second and my poor website

only gets new pics like once a year. Time to update that puppy!

the past three years now for her photos.

Her 3 year portraits and Her 4 year portraits.  Each year she gets

cuter and cuter…if that is even possible! lol

It’s funny how parents always have such a hard time

getting their own children to smile for the camera.

Then are amazed when they bring them into my studio

and the kids don’t stop hamming it up for me.

Love that!

This was an easy going, gonna have us some fun portrait session.

Pajamas, stuffys and lots of jumping = a happy camper.

Cadence just turned one and her mom who is another photographer

brought her into my studio for a cake smash session.

I was there and figured I should get some pics too.

Her mom Brenda of Woodland told me it was a ok to use these

for my portfolio. Yay. Thanks girl.

These are my sweet, funny, caring and always make me a proud mommy kids.

I try to not overdo the staged photos with them…I try to capture who they are

everyday around the house. The goofy things they do make me smile.

I have been taking a lot of photos with my ipod 4th gen…and love it.

It makes it all so simple. Carefree. Capturing the moment with that thing is great.

Sure the quality lacks a bunch but it is light weight and very portable. The

videos are also a plus. No editing just shoot and go. Love it!

Anyways back to my darlings.

Kiana is just now 8 years old. She is an excellent artist and loves i-Carly and

Wizards of Waverly Place. Oh I do love Netflix.

Kai turned 5 in January. He loves Trains and most cartoons. Barney is a fave.

He is even reading now…can sit and read us kids books…even new ones.

Zeke turned 4 and has started saying many more words this past month.

Night night, bear, please, bite, more, I love you. I see you. Kai, Kiki, Dada and Mama.

Those are the main ones. We are so proud of the little guy.

He is still an avid climber and got a second degree burn on his lower right leg last week.

It seems to be healing nicely. He didn’t climb for 2 days…but has since returned to

his jungle roots.

I love them all.

Each is different.

Unique.

MINE.

Pajama portraits are a super fun way to get your kiddo/s

to relax, have fun and get some real smiles from them.

I tell the kids to jump on the bed and they just love it.

They can roam around the studio space and be free.

Unlike any other studio in Longview…they can be a kid.

Alexa loved the freedom she had during her photoshoot.

Lots of smiles and giggles…who doesn’t love wearing their pjs anyways!

Yes Thatcher is back and he was ready for action. I took his family photos last February

over in and near Clatskanie along the river and at the High School.

I was so glad to see him again…isn’t he so cute rockin his lil’ green glasses!

Loved the shark hat and mittens I should buy some.

Thanks to his Mom for bringing him back in. He had fun and so did I.

I usually get previews posted to Facebook before the blog.

We drove to Kalama, WA where my Mom lives and trick or treated around her neighborhood just like the past at least 7 years gone by. The thing that was different about this year was the weather. It was not freezing and it did not rain. There were no more than 3 sprinkles that hit my face the entire time. It was wonderful and quite enjoyable for all of us. No one complained of being wet, tired or cold…which was so nice.

After we counted our loot with each child getting around 80 treats each we ate some good food my Mom had prepared and watched movies. Rocky Horror Picture Show was near finished by the time we had sat down which didn’t hurt our feelings none since it is a very strange musical. We watched the original Night of the Living Dead which was filmed back in 1968 and was very fitting for Halloween night.

It was a fun evening with just us and the grand-folks and I hope it is this good next year too.

We did the entire session in downtown Longview, WA for an Urban look.

I loved the clean and ready for fun look of their outfits and thought they worked out great in the photos. Nicely done.

Here is what I wrote on Facebook explaining what happened:

ok. so Zeke has been falling off the bunkbed. So last night we took the top bunk off and put it on the floor as a bed. Put him to bed and when we checked on him this is how I found him.

We had moved the bunkbed by the closet so he couldn’t climb in the window…not thinking ever he could climb up the rail and get on the top shelf in the closet. Needless to say we took the whole bunkbed to the garage and will be getting 2 twin beds now. He had to actually kinda leap from the top rail to even get to the shelf…I am amazed at it all!

yes his climbing is stressful that is why we are totally ditching the whole bunkbed idea…I never wanted them in the first place…all Adams idea. Go figure. lol

I know…too bad we didn’t have a nanny cam…would have loved to see him in action also.
