Yeah…still playing catch up here on the blog.

She was the sweetest little thing.

The bunny photos are a tradition with the family.

I was so happy to have had the chance to take these

newborn photos since I took her mommy’s maternity portraits

in my Longview, WA studio a few months before.

Well not so new anymore…these were taken earlier in the year.

I just haven’t gotten to blogging everything but am now

trying to catch up. I love my photography studio for little babies and kids.

Being in Longview is wonderful and I am blessed to have such amazing clients.

Aren’t they just stinkin’ adorable!!??

Kids are just the cutest things.

They make me smile.

When I get to photograph such fun kids

it reminds me why I love being a photographer!

Tara was no different…patiently waiting the

arrival of her daughter.

What a beautiful time to show off your belly.

Around 8 months is a great time to come in

and be photographed in all of your glowing goodness.

Zoey is gonna be Big sister yet again. She was excited

and a very sweet girl also. She sure loved jumping on

the bed in the studio. Who doesn’t though right?

That is what I first thought when I had the pleasure of

meeting little Dosain. Doesn’t he have gorgeous big bright eyes?

Love them…he seemed so curious through out his entire newborn

photo session. His wonderful and proud parents brought him into my

portrait studio a couple months ago. I posted a preview on facebook right away

and am just getting the chance to blog him.

He was a wonderful subject and so calm.

He totally loved being wrapped up…I called him

my little sushi wrap…cause that is what he reminded me of.

Ha …even though I don’t like sushi.

So here he is in all his newborn goodness.

Gotta love those little toes.

PS. That necklace he was gripping onto…was given to his

daddy by his grandpa…when I heard that I knew we had to

incorporate it into a couple of shots.

They quickly became favorites.

His auntie brought back this I ♥ New York outfit for him from the

Big Apple.  Isn’t this family just too cute!!!

You may remember me shooting the New Years Eve wedding

for the lovely couple. Then again you may not. lol

Well enough rambling…here is the lil cutie.

for his newborn photoshoot. He was absolutely adorable and look at those

cute little chubby cheeks.

I love newborns because they are so cuddly and cute.

They don’t move much or run away.

They don’t shy away from the camera.

They just are there and ready to model.

Welcome to 2011 Everybody.

Big things have been happening around here for me lately.

I now have my own Portrait Studio located in

Historic Downtown Longview,WA in the Henry Building

at 1407 Commerce Suite #106. Yes, I am totally excited about it all and

my hubby and I have been painting like crazy people.

So Newborns, Babies, Boudoir and Rainy Day sessions now

have the perfect place to go. Yay!

The Studio is by appointment only since I have young ones at home still.

Onto my first Family Session in the new Studio Space.

The “M” Family was the quickest and easiest session I think I have ever had.

They knew exactly what they wanted when they came in and were gone

after about 30 mins. They were a fun group and had me laughing till the end.

They don’t often have a chance to get ALL of the family together so they took full

advantage this time and asked me to photograph the whole family unit as one.

I was happy to be asked and hope they Love the portraits! Enjoy.

p.s. Not sure why the first photo is so low quality…the rest look perfect.

I usually get previews posted to Facebook before the blog.

I met Christy years ago while singing karaoke in Winlock, WA.

Well as life goes I moved away and hadn’t seen her since until she found

me again on Facebook! What a great tool it has been in finding long lost

friends and helping spread my photography business around town.

Well we knew that it was going to be wet around the time of the photo shoot

so we had planned to take photos in her church so we could stay dry.

I got to the church and the sun was shining so off to the lake we went for

some beautiful fall photos with all of the foilage in it’s many colors.

Just as we were leaving to head back to the church it started to rain. lol

Perfect timing.

This family was a joy to photograph…costumes and all!

Here are a few photos from my Halloween Mini Sessions at the lake in Longview,WA the day before the big day.

I figured mini sessions would be a hit and they were.

We met through church where he was the youth pastor/worship leader.

Over the years our friendship has only gotten better and stronger.

Ava was such a lil girl when we first met and look at her now!

She has such a great personality already watch out world!

We wanted to get the beautiful trees that are down at the Japanese Gardens

so we started out there. We ended the night over at Willow Grove for some more

relaxed and candid photographs. The weather was just beautiful that day

and we couldn’t have asked for anything better.

We did the entire session in downtown Longview, WA for an Urban look.

I loved the clean and ready for fun look of their outfits and thought they worked out great in the photos. Nicely done.

We went to an old farm that had been donated to the city and turned into a park with live animals for kids to see and all. We got some cute shots in at that location and then decided it was time for brunch. We ate at a local hotspot and afterwards walked down the alley and found a great brick wall for more photos. We then went shopping for the nights dinner and then right before going back to thier place we headed to the beach which is less than 5 minutes from thier house. I love how they turned out and can’t wait to get the gallery up with all of them from that day.

Allishea was due on March 26th so we barely got these belly photos done in time. She went in for a scheduled c-section on the 25th because she was losing fluids and baby Harmony hadn’t turned yet. I left on the 24th and was bummed I was going to miss out on her hospital stay. I love shooting in the hospital nursery when the babies are fresh out of the oven. We will be doing baby Harmony’s newborn shoot this Thursday at 7 days old and I can’t wait.

So anyways…We had a small window of opportunity the day of this session in between the rain clouds and the big storm. We shot her maternity session in downtown Longview,WA for about an hour before it started to pour. We did get plenty of wonderful shots in that time and I can’t wait for our next session. Thanks girl!

Mr. “B” – Jason- went to school and grew up over in Clatskanie OR and wanted to have that be a part of their session so I gladly made the drive over. We got some great photographs over at the Middle/High school first and then headed down to Mayger beach. Not sure if I spelled that right. It is right across from Longviews Willow Grove and you could see and hear people across the river playing. There was an old run down building that he believed used to be a cannery but was blocked off from the public for safety reasons. Trust me it definately looked unsafe or I would have been all over it. It made for a nice backdrop in the photos anyways.

Little Thatcher didn’t want to be held much once we got to the sand….after I was happy with what I had gotten we let him down to play….he was just amazed at the sand…feeling it and eventually tasting it…which he didn’t seem to like in the end. I tried to stop him but failed….but got a great picture of his reaction afterwards and it wasn’t a happy one. I never said the Columbia River tasted good. Ha! He was great through the whole session, well as great as we can expect a 13 month old to be. His smile was so cute and warmed my heart.

We put him in the car to warm up and shot some couple shots since the last time they had any taken was in Vegas when they got married and the quality wasn’t there.
