The “D” Family – Christmas Card Photos

Meet the “D” Family. You may recognize little Ms. “E” from her newborn session back in September. I entered their family pet Sadie for the I Heart Faces challenge this week since she is adorable as well. Somehow with all of the stuff going on at Christmas this year I managed to forget to blog this but figured better late than never right? 

 I met Jody (The mommy) years ago through singing Karaoke in Longview WA and in Kelso WA. She has been a KJ at a few different places around town and I would go to the places she was at because she had such a sweet and funny personality. She started singing the song “My Sharona” for me and I would always attempt to dance to it which I am sure brought a ton of laughs to everyone who saw since I can’t dance! lol.

We had originally planned to meet up at Lake Sacajawea in the center of Longview, WA. But since it had gotten so cold out we decided to just have the session at their house by their beautiful Christmas trees. Good thing because I don’t think the kids would have made it very long out there.

Kids….you gotta love them! Nate wanted it his way or the highway during the session. His dad Tim grabbed him and started tickling him and the smiles finally came out. I got some great belly laughing shots for them for sure. Emalie decided to relax a bit but also had a bottle nearby for those pouty lip moments. She did really well but at the end she made a BIG stink in her diaper and the session was over. Check out the last photo….that is when it happened. The look on both kids faces is priceless.
