Well November just flew right by me this year. I can’t believe it is now December and Christmas is just 24 days away. November was great and I enjoyed all of the people I got to meet and photograph. I am very thankful to my clients who choose me to capture them and their families. I am blessed to have a job that is like no other and doesn’t even feel like work. I am thankful for my family who supports me and encourages me all of the time. I am blessed to have a wonderful and loving husband who loves me for me and 3 beautiful and kind hearted children who each love me unconditionally. I am very fortunate to have what I have and to be as healthy as I am. I give thanks to God who continues to pour out blessings upon me and my family. Even in hard times we give thanks because we know we are still so lucky in this life no matter what happens.
Sidenote:
This past weekend we had quite the scare with our youngest son Zeke who is almost 3 already. We went out for a nice family dinner at Stuffy’s and Zeke just wasn’t interested in eating and all of a sudden became very tired. We weren’t sure what was going on so we finished our food and decided to run over to the Dollar Tree since we had planned to get a few things there. We were there for about 10 minutes and Zeke was sleeping in the front seat of the shopping cart. Suddenly he sat up and his eyes rolled back and he turned blue and became unresponsive. The two of us freaked out and left the store and our full cart there and quickly drove to the ER which luckily took less than 5 mins from where we were especially since Adam safely ran a stoplight or two. We made sure to pray on the way since prayer is very important to us. I ran in with Zeke in my arms and explained what had happened to the front desk person. He quickly got our names and made sure our info was current and sent us back to our own room. Zeke wouldn’t stay awake at this point no matter what we tried. Before we knew it the room was full of nurses and a Dr. stripping him down and taking tests. Turned out he had a fever of 104 which shocked us all because you couldn’t feel it on his skin. They gave him fluids and an antibiotic after finding that he had a high white blood cell count. He barely responded to the needle poking but he woke up when they had to get a urine sample poor guy. So after Tylenol and Ibuprofin his fever finally started declining. Well after four hours of him sleeping we were out of the hospital and he was awake and alert. As soon as we got home he was back to his normal happy, climbing self again with no signs of anything ever being wrong. No clue to what caused the fever and the Febrile Seizure but we are blessed that our little guy is again well. Now if only he would stay off of the counters. lol. Of coarse you know all of this just had to happen the one time I left my camera at home since I had just gotten done with a session. Well I took a pic of two when we got home to document what I could so here it is. Our happy guy!
