The day finally came on the 8th of August for Jake & Alicia to finally get married!  Remember them from their Engagement session? Alicia looked beautiful in her awesome dress and Jake looked great as well in his white tuxedo. The ceremony was awesome, they included the washing of eachothers feet just like Jesus did in the Bible and people came up and prayed for them before the cermony was complete. It was a very special thing to be a part of and I am thankful that I got to witness it. Congrats you two! Hope you are enjoying your Honeymoon!

The preview is ABSOLUTELY wonderful Schona! You captured the emotion of the wedding PERFECTLY! We're SOO excited to see the rest of them! :)

In response to Britt; the footing washing is no wedding tradition, which is exactly what we were going for. It's biblical. It signifies our service to each other. In Jesus' time, he washed his disciples' feet, which at the time was only for the lowest of lowly servants to do. However, Jesus wanted to show his love for his disciples by being their servant, which is exactly what the bride and I wanted to show for our marriage. :) It was a surprise for everyone and it went better than we expected! :)
