Camping – Longview WA Photographer

Last Friday we headed out for a camping trip up to Leavenworth, WA where we were going to meet up with some friends for the weekend. This is Day 1 of our child free vacation.
All but the last 2 were taken from in the truck while going down the road at 45-60 mph. There was no stopping for pics this time.

Of course I needed a self portrait and how cool is it that I got our RV in it too!

This shot was taken in Randal, WA. There are a lot of camp spots in this area and isn’t it pretty?

This shot was on the top of a pass. It was in the late 80’s today and look there is still snow!

We were headed on down the pass at this point and saw this beautiful lake so I took a snap as we drove on by.

Here we are leaving the lush forests and heading into the deserts of Yakima County.

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful tall tree’s that were providing shade for our drive and we said Hello Heat! Here it was in the upper 90’s – early 100’s.

Walked around downtown and enjoyed all the pretty lights. I took the picture while Adam and our 3 friends posed in the street.

After this we all went and shouted out some tunes at the Post Office Saloon. Three out of the five sang the other two gals enjoyed listening. It was a great day. We went back to our KOA campground and went to bed afterwards….too late to do much of anything but sleep.

Day 2 will be coming up!

You have very steady hands. My pics would look nothing like this if I took them from a moving vehicle!!! Love these!!!

  2. Thanks ladies! I forgot to mention…all of the scenic photos were taken while hubby was driving down the road inbetween 45-60 MPH…there was no stopping with him.lol. I wish we could have stopped but we left too late in the day. I totally missed an awesome shot of Mt. Adams….next time.

  4. Wow, these are such gorgeous shots! It makes me want to go camping very soon. With scenery like that we would be pulling over all of the time for photos.
