Lucy’s Garden Fall Wedding
Fall Weddings are so colorful. This was my first time to Lucy’s garden in Ridgefield, WA. The entire venue is just beautiful outside and the perfect place for a cute little fall wedding. It was pretty chilly outside for those without pants or long sleeves but the weather otherwise couldn’t have been more perfect.
I started out taking photos of the bride getting ready for her big day. Then got the guys together for some formal portraits. We had a first look where Sean got to see Melissa for the first time in her dress and take it all in for an intimate moment for the two. I then got the ladies together for some fun photos. Of coarse we didn’t leave out the ring bearer and little Summer Lee the flower girl and daughter of the bride and groom. Then it was getting close to the ceremony start time so the dj ran through it with everyone and the bride went back up to her room to hide from the guests
The ceremony was outside and by the time the bride walked down the aisle the sun had just set. Sean and Melissa had the associate pastor at their church perform the ceremony and everything went smoothly.
Once they kissed everyone made their way to the barn for the reception. We stopped and took some final group and family formals before eating dinner. The inside of the barn has beautiful hanging lights which made the whole building just glow like a fairytale.
Melissa had a theme picked out then later decided to go with her dream and had a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding. Putting a lot of hard work into finding the perfect decorations herself she even made some of them. The centerpieces had fairy lights and you could find floating roses under glass jars in a few places. Even Mrs. Potts and Chip was there on one of the tables.
The night ended with some toasting, bouquet and garter toss and some dancing. The day was perfect for a fall wedding and I want to wish Sean and Melissa a long and happy life!
Congratulations guys and thanks for trusting me with your memories.
