  1. It’s funny, my friend DQ over at ( http://ishouldhavecalledhimcalvin.wordpress.com/)
only wrote about this yesterday by co-incidence.
She wrote that sometimes we seem to get “free passes” with our children when they do life threatening things!
I think God has graciously given me MORE than my fair share of free passes and with a climber like Zeke – I also believe that God will more than come through for you guys too 🙂

    • funny enough I was going through your fave blogs last night and read that post! Not sure if that was before or after the photo but I am glad that God has given him these free passes. 🙂

  2. I’m loving reading about Zeke! It’s making me look forward to that day when the fella and I decide to be parents ourselves.

Omigosh, he’s so smart! I really enjoyed your post about his use of sign language, too. That’s so awesome! 😀

  3. I remember that my middle boy was a shocking climber when he was Zeke’s age.
I have a photo of him up the very top of a full size ladder holding a huge screwdriver in his hand because he wanted to hand it to Daddy to “help”.
Daddy was on the roof repairing a hole.
Harry was only about 18 months old at the time and it totally freaked me out!

    • holy cow that would scare me too! One time Zeke was at the top of the stairs with the other two kids. He climbed up on the railing from a bookcase and was kinda hanging over. Had he fallen he could have died by breaking his neck…Kiana told me he was being bad and to come get him…when I looked up I freaked! I didn’t know what to do…I just ran as fast as possible up the stairs to grab him…I am glad he didn’t try to stand up. One of the scariest times with him besides febrile seizures.
